Mid-Summer Fun

What fun!

Our Oregon kids came down for about 10 days and we had a great time. We all settled in up at our cabin and were favored with great weather, lots of fish in the river, good hikes, wonderful wildflowers and best of all, lots of hugs from grandkids! Except for a powerful skunk smell in the cabin, and the grandkids getting incredibly dirty, it was a great week! But what else can you expect up in the forest!

Later in the week, we all gathered at daughter Connie's home for swimming and cleaner fun!

The only thing to improve our family vacation would have been to have our Kansas City kids here too. Maybe next year! We sure did miss them!
