The Mystery is Solved

After weeks and weeks of smelling a skunk in the cabin Jim finally solved the mystery by climbing up onto the fireplace and equipped with a flashlight and shop vac and pitchfork he pulled out a little dead skunk. How the skunk got in is a puzzle to us but we're glad to have him gone! The cabin began to smell better immediately.

Look What's New

This past week Newel and Jim installed a new kitchen sink and Formica top with mouse proof cabinets up in our cabin! Later, Jim and I went up and sanded, stained and added knobs. We are so amazed at how nice it looks. I really feel like I can prepare meals in a clean environment! This was a great birthday present.
